Dominic Cava (he/him)

Hi! My name is Dominic Cava and I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree (Honours) in Politics and Governance from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Master’s degree in Political Management from
Carleton University.

I have a keen interest in community-building, government and volunteering and so joined
the Rising Sun Food Drive Foundation (RSFDF) to combat food insecurity in my community.

My first interaction with Rising Sun was in 2021 when I worked as a Councillor’s Aide
to the late Cynthia Lai at their fall food drive and was impressed with how the organization strives to lessen hunger and poverty by going door-to-door across Scarborough to collect non-perishable food items.

As a director-at-large, I hope to help grow the organization’s reach across Scarborough.
